Opulence
Warm, rich, autumnal tones. Velvets and silks in reds and browns and gold. These images are perfect for fall. They make me feel warm, safe, and comforted.
Can I have a housekeeper to clean the dust from the velvet drapes??? If not, then I want that library with a fireplace, ottoman, and hot pot of tea......then let me loose on all those books WITHOUT interruptions!
Someday we will have houses with floor to ceiling windows and long red velvet curtains! Someday...sigh.
