Happy Weekend!

I'm so sorry for my long absence over the last two weeks.

I had a very good visit in San Antonio with my relatives. The funeral service for my uncle was really wonderful and the time with family was precious. We laughed together, cried together, cleaned together, watched a lot of Olympics together, and hopefully we were able to leave my grandmother better off because of our visit. 

I came back from the trip with about the worst cold/flu thing imaginable, and have pretty much been trying to recover ever since. There were moments this past week when I thought I wouldn't make it, but I guess I've decided to live, after all :) 

Today my cousin Tiana and Aunt Diana are coming to visit me for the weekend, and I'm so excited to show off my house, drink tea, have glorious girly chats, and probably shop just a little!
