Hello!
I hope you all had an absolutely wonderful weekend! I sure did! Phillip made my birthday really special: we spent all day Saturday adventuring through small Colorado mining towns, over insane cliff-side dirt roads and through rainy forests of aspen and pine. We ran into several antique and thrift stores, stopped for coffee in an old hippie biker shop, and wandered through the opera garden in Central City. We had dinner out, bought a dresser at a consignment store, and even slept in our back yard.
On Sunday my grandparents took the CO family out to dinner at a little cafe in Castle Rock. We had fried chicken and drinks and the most deliciously rich chocolate cake. And I only had to blow out one candle!
Today I avoided all semblances of housework in exchange for finishing up and mailing a friend's wedding invitations. I then proceeded to Hobby Lobby and the thrift store to start on the makings of her bridal shower invitations and decorations! Other people's wedding plans are way more fun than organizing my bedroom.
Tomorrow I'm starting a brand new ladies Bible Study at church, look at me being all outgoing and sociable! ;)
