Happy first week of April, everyone!
I can't believe how incredibly quickly the months are flying by! And this one will be no different, I'm sure.
In fact, I'm sort of counting on this being the busiest and fastest month of all!
I haven't told you, because I didn't want to make it official until it was really official, but we bought a house! NO, we still haven't closed. Sigh. We were supposed to close last week, but the title company hasn't been doing their job. Hopefully, we'll definitely and for sure be closing this week!
And then, oh my! We've already given notice to vacate this house by April 30. Which means I have less than a month to get this place packed up, moved, completely cleaned, inspected, etc.
Which brings me to the good news of this morning: My mom and sister Lydia are coming to visit me this week! They're mostly coming to work. I'm a mean slave driver like that. They're going to help me pack and clean and, if we can get into the house while they're here, to paint. Of course, we'll be taking little breaks for fun things, like an Easter egg craft and a trip to a cooking store, because what's a girls week without girly breaks?!
So if I'm not around much this week, you'll know why. I'll be too busy packing like crazy and squeezing in fun wherever I can.
