The dresser continued...

This may be one of the most creative things I've seen done with an old dresser in quite a while. I think even *I* could maybe decopage a bunch of old music onto a dresser. What do you think? Do you like this look? I'm still not quite sure if this look would work in my living room, but you could probably pull this off with a number of different scrap book papers. I might have to make a trip down to Hobby Lobby and see if I can find anything that jumps out at me. Its rough being this indecisive.

  1. It's an excellent concept. I think it would be better with a darker wood and a high gloss finish. I would enjoy it more as something to be discovered and not something screaming "hey look at me I'm awesome" as soon as someone walks in the room.

  2. that looks so awesome...I want a dresser like that to put all my music in, near my piano! i don't usually like stuff like this but i LOVE that! I think that's a great idea, to find nifty papers to paste on your dresser...you could use almost anything. I like how its only on the drawers...its neat without being too much...

  3. I LOVE this dresser, but I would have to agree with Angelo it would look better with dark wood. But then again I tend to think that everything looks better with dark wood. If you decide not to do this... can I?

  4. Haha if I decide not to do it, you can all get in line behind my mom. She pretty much had a heart attack and is already looking for a dresser to do this to. But yea, I think my dresser would end up dark wood, since most of my furniture is already dark. I think the light wood keeps it more subtle, though. Thanks for commenting, everybody! I love getting comments on my blog!
