I am so sorry I have been absent all week long! I'd like to blame at least the first two days on visits from family. I couldn't blog, I was too busy making jewelry and going to IKEA with my mother-in-law, not to mention bossing my father-in-law around and making him fix all of my broken things.
But they left early yesterday morning, and I have no excuse any more. Honestly, I've just been caught up in a really good book. And I know that you, my lovely readers, can understand that.
How have you been all week?! And what, may I ask, have you been reading?

  1. I agree with Austen - except it could be better if you were reading a book with a nice, hot cup of tea while it's raining outside!! I am reading Les Miserables (again), which will be followed by Farenheit 451 and Gone With the Wind. I suppose we'll start school sometime in there....but the books sound more appealing to me right now!

  2. Here's another quote for you:

"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one."
—-George R. R. Martin, A Dance with Dragons

What are you reading that has you so entranced? I'm just about to finish The Various Flavors of Coffee, which is well-written, but I'm not sure I recommend it. If that makes sense. :-)
