Somehow I totally forgot about Thursday's Child last week, and then I almost forgot again this week! But I'm so glad I didn't, because I've been dying to show you these awesome pirate (ok I guess just ship, but I prefer to think of them as pirate) themed rooms! And that ship shaped playhouse?! Brilliant! Adorable! Man I am so in love with this.
What do you think? The only problem I can think of: your kids might be too excited to sleep ;)

  1. I love bedrooms like this!! I think my children enjoy the fun things they did in their bedrooms (curtained bunkbeds, puppies/kittens, camo paint), and really, it was an easy and inexpensive way to let them claim a part of the house. Besides, deep down, I would have LOVED a room that expressed me!! Now, when you build that pirate ship in your yard, please invite me over for tea or a sword fight. I'm tucking that picture away for grandchildren....

  2. If your blog had a "Like" button this would be me clicking it repeatedly! Show that picture of the playhouse to Lydia...maybe she can do her treehouse like that!! I also loved the unusual bunk beds from your other post...somehow they seemed to fit right in with this one!
