Right now, I really miss my puppy. Although she sometimes drives me nuts, Rosie is such a happy, bouncy bundle of unconditional love. It would have been totally impractical to try to bring her out here to live with me, but I really miss taking her for walks and watching her hilarious tail-chasing antics.
But I did have the pleasure yesterday of being accepted by the resident shy cat, Zoe, who gave me the honor of petting her from an arms length for a good five or ten minutes. She's a sweetie, and I will take animal love where I can get it!

Ahh! I am sorry you couldn't take your dog with you. :( I pray that I can have animals with me wherever I am. That is neat that the cat adopted you! :D
