Textured Walls

I have slightly textured walls in my house. Popcorn ceilings, and ligthly textured walls. I'm not crazy about them, because I'd love to do some kind of molding, like this, and I think it looks best on smooth walls.

However, after browsing through some of my favorite blogs, I've started to fall in love with textured walls. NOT textured like my walls are textured, but custom, expensive, gloriously unique textures.

By the way, check out the hot tin roof over this beautiful bed. I want tin ceilings AND textured walls!
