Today's Thursday's Child post is brought to you by one of my very first loves, Star Wars. I cannot stress how much I love that Darth Vader/Princess costume. I want one just like it!
I think Star Wars has some very good things to teach both parents and children. I plan on immersing my children in the Star Wars culture from a young age, I know they'll be better for it.
May the Force be with you!
As your mom, I have to recommend something more like, "May the chores be with you." Moms could really take off & use this Star Wars craze: how about at math time? "May the fours be with you." Bedtime: "May the snores be with you." Sending your kids off to camp: "May the s'mores...."
ReplyDeletehahaha...Mom you should write a comprehensive homeschooling curriculum based on the Star Wars Universe...
ReplyDeleteDaniella, as long as we are talking about IV-VI and ignoring the first 3 movies...the only thing they will learn from those is A) Jar-Jar must die and B) good romance scenes actually DO require chemistry between the actors...
sorry, let me clarify: by "first 3 movies" I mean episodes I-III, which were released later. I generally try to pretend they don't exist...
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic collection of hilarity! :)
ReplyDeleteI love love love this post!! I want that pink vader costume too!
